Everything began when I was still a child. We used to spend our school holidays on the farms of close relatives in the countryside of Goiás, Brazil, and the main form of entertainment there was catching horses in the vast pastures so we could ride them and even go to local festivals throughout the region. Contact with the animals was so routine that we developed a bond of friendship with them.

After some time, I decided to acquire my own herd so I could keep them closer to me on my small farm. It was through this close coexistence and the many trail rides we took that the desire to paint horses emerged, as I was already working in parallel as a visual artist.

As the years went by, my passion for horses only grew, and today I create paintings for people all over the world—especially here in the United States, where I currently live.
